We tried out your establishment on Saturday, you poured our wine from the bottle on the table and over the side of the glass and didn’t even come back to clean it up. We asked for napkins so we wouldn’t wear your over-pour. We had your cheese board and when you offered to ‘pour’ more we said we were going to another place. We still tipped you well and when we left you made a snarky comment, and worse later in the evening as we walked by again you waved to us as if to insult. Use your 15% undeserved tip to learn some manners. And PS we’ll tweet, Facebook and tell everyone we know to avoid your establishment. —A Vintage Customer

And you tipped because…?
You should have kept the tip.

tipping and then bitching about it.
hm..
sort of passive aggressive.
you must be a patron of the port of whines, o.p.?
Why would you tip?
OB, post your review under the Food & Drink section. Help put that place under.
I would have tipped him/her.
THat’s what pennys are for , are they not ?
yeah right… i’m sure you keep lots of pennies, in your change purse^^
yeah, that sure is what ‘pennys’ are for, more-on!
prolly a wannabe sommelier…practising his snooty and smarmity out on yea 🙂
stories like this are just too 1 sided to sound real.
Did you have your meal? You got a table full of wine and a cheese board but you didn’t mention the meal. When the gent came back to see if he could hit the glass, he told him you were leaving but you left a tip? Seems odd.
