I hear ya! As a regular traveller of the Bay Rd (#23 bus) I see a lot of people blow through that crosswalk like it does not exist. A simple fix would be to install a sign prior to the bend stating that there is crosswalk ahead.
I noticed (in a small town in Maine) a sign that read, “please slow down, we love our children.” I think we should do the same. Maybe people would understand the seriousness of this. I have a neighbour who puts out a wooden franklen holding a flag when her kids are playing outside and I find people get the point.
