To the bunch of idiots in the jeep who threw a paper bag full of garbage at my feet on Barrington and then drove off yelled “sorry”: what’s the big idea? do you think it is OK the throw garbage at people or ruin our beautiful streets? If you are so sorry then why drive off? Even after yelling obscenities at you I was so angry a second later that I chased after you while you were stopped at the red light. You guys are lucky it turned green before I could catch up. —Angry Pedestrian

I’m having a difficult time reconciling the phrase “ruin our beautiful streets” with “Barrington”.
I’m pretty sure the Enola Gay couldn’t make Barrington look any worse than it does now.
ivan, just think of all the nifty new ‘sillouettes’ on the building walls.
To match the chalk outlines on the sidewalk?
>; )
Heh, one time waiting on my bicycle behind a line of cars at the Willow Tree some dumb bitch throws her empty evian bottle out the window onto the grass. Herr Crankster rolls up and tosses it in her lap “I think you dropped this” says he.
the bear did that with a lit cigarette in toronto
Gee Batman must have been a slow day if that is the Crime Fighting you have been regulated too.
Some people’s children…. 🙁
Bunch of idiots + jeep + food in said jeep= litter, possilbly litter landing on someone’s head. Seems to follow logically.
Put a brick in the window next time.
points for using “what’s the big idea?”
That phrase makes my laugh.
ok so while i’m sure they intentionally meant to litter, i want to share a story. So i was in the car driving. My AC is busted so the windows were down because.. well you guys were all in the city this weekend.
So the cross breeze going through weenis vandini (that’s the name of my car) catches this piece of paper and whips it out my back window. Obviously i’m not going to catch it because to do so would be to cause an accident. But as i looked over my shoulder, i saw it slap a little old lady in the face.
Believe me or don’t but i actually DID park with the intention of trying to find her and apologize. I didn’t find her. I felt pretty bad. I didn’t mean to litter at all but leaving loose paper in the car is just asking for it on a hot day in an AC-less weenis vandini.
Btw op next time, get the plate numbers. Judging from the lack of decent receptacles in this city, I’m guessing ol HRM is just itching to cash in on their 500 dollar littering fine. I’m sure calling that in would get them salivating like hungry dogs.
