How deceitful to sell ‘bamboo’ in your company and lead people to believe that the sheets are made of bamboo fibres when in fact they’re microfibre! —Attentive consumer

  1. I get a kick out of the bamboo issue. The fact is, all bamboo fabric is processed from bamboo into a pulp and then reconstituted into yarn through a chemical process. The processing stage kind of negates all of the ecological benefits of using bamboo. Also, this process removes any anti-microbial properties that were present in the original plant which is why the FTC is conducting something of a crackdown on all bamboo product claims.

But hey, it makes people feel good 🙂
