Please stop wearing ballet slippers as outdoor shoes. I know they’re in fashion right now, but get a brain!

Besides looking ridiculous, unless you’re supporting your metatarsal arch in each step you take, you are ruining your feet. I doubt you’ll be saying “Hooray for fallen arches!” when your arches start falling… which won’t be long.
Ballet slippers are meant to be worn by people who carry their bodies differently, and who understand how to distribute their weight throughout their feet.
Do yourself and your feet favour: ditch the ballet slippers and get real shoes. They don’t look good on anyone but ballerinas.

So when are you going to bitch about all the people who wear army boots that are not in the army? Or wear crocks yet have no surgery scheduled for that afternoon? Or baseball hats when they, in fact, do not play for the New York Yankees? Since you apparently are a dancer, you should know that none of the ballet shoes you see walking down the street are actual ballet shoes. You should also know by now that fashion is an art form that mimics many aspects of society – including dance. Stop being such a snob.
