This is directed at the dumb blond bitch at the Joel Plaskett show on Saturday. You decided to move in on the space I was trying to save for my friend, and when he came back I asked you politely to move over a bit, so he could make his way back into the crowd. You looked down your nose at me and said, “I don’t think there’s really anything I can do about that.” You know what? I think there was something you could’ve done. You could’ve not been a total twat, and moved the fuck over! Lucky for you I was sober and rational, and unwilling to ruin my own night.
The young pups in this town have to realize that you need to show respect for people while out in public. My generation have been going to shows longer than you’ve been out of diapers, and if we hadn’t supported musical talent all these years, you may not have anywhere to spend your student loans! If you can’t behave yourselves, go back to the Palace where you belong!

The fact that you were trying to save space (floor space?) for someone at a concert is fucking hilarious! I can just picture you standing there trying to hold your arms out and make yourself bigger somehow! If I was in a crowd of fans at a concert and someone said that the spot I decided to stand/dance/jump/whatever in was taken I’d have the same reaction.
I completely and totally agree with lori. You think it was just YOUR generation who’s supported the musical talent…if you didn’t support the musical talent you grew up with, that does not mean that todays generation wouldn’t (and from the sounds of it Joel Plaskett is not even music from your generation). And as for spending student loans on concerts and anything else you’re trying to suggest…sure maybe some students are, but don’t fucking try and put all students in that category because I fucking work my ass off going to school full time, and go to work 20 hours a week because I don’t even get enough student loan to pay half my tuition. It was YOUR generation who got 10,000 or more in student loans every year and then got 2,000 burserys and blew that on trips down south instead of putting it on your student loan…it is YOUR generations fault that we can’t get a decent student loan anymore. Again suggesting that all young people like the Palace is discusting. Get a fucking life and stop stereotying against young people!!!!
