to the person(s) who let their dog shit in front of the house chebucto rd: the first time you didn’t pick it up, it was an accident. the second time, it was just plain rude. now it has essentially become a habit, or an allowed part of your dogs routine. if your dog shits in the middle of the sidewalk in front of the same house 2-3 times a week, and you don’t clean it up, you’re just an asshole. really —i like clean shoes

OP, I had a similar situation–almost exact, except she kept letting her dog poop in from of my neighbour’s place after I asked her if she needed a bag for her dog poo and offered her the use of my outdoor garbage can….I really wish I had advice for you, but I don’t…still, glad you spoke up, at least you gave your poop-perp the benefit of the doubt and a second chance……I feel bad for you OP, but worse for that person’s dog.
Rig up a high pressure hose and stake out the front lawn *hide in the bushes and wait for the next time that person comes along and lets they dog leave a big steamy shit, then spray the fuck outta the person, the dog. Then say, “Oh sorry, I’m just spraying all the shit off the sidewalk”.

OB – Try half filling a 2L pop bottle(s) with water, and place it where the dog does its business. For some reason it seems to unnerve them.
