I’m tired of Bus drivers thinking they can psych. us drivers out. I was just barely accross the bus crossing and the bus driver turned abruptly to try and fake hit us. Not only was i scared he was gonna hit me, but i was concerned for the saftey of the people on the bus… I know your vehicle is bigger than my small car but c’mon now!

I think people should just let the bus go first, considering the number of people on the bus compared w/ the car. Bus drivers would be fairly intensively trained and aware of their right of way, I’d think, unlike most car drivers out there…
Buses can also have blind spots that might hide a small car at some angles…

Halifax is the first city I drove in where I see people actually CUT OFF buses. I couldn’t believe how many hairy eyeballs I get when I yield to a bus to allow them to continue their route! Don’t even get me started on merging traffic on the whole.
Bus crossing? As much as I’d like to say yield to buses pulling out, there’s no law here requiring it so I just have to live with it. That said though, one thing I do if I need to get into a line of stopped traffic is cut my wheel left and inch forward a bit with my signal on so that people know I’m wanting to come in (because the signal light alone is often not enough).
Also a good point made was small cars can get lost in the large blind spot of the bus.
Well if I was a bus driver, I would pretend to run you over too!
