  1. one word, “infertility” and just because you don’t want to see the pictures doesn’t mean that everyone else feels the same, you can choose to block the photo updates from the selected proud parents. i’m sure you’d be doing the exact same thing if you had kids, try to look at it from another point of view.

  2. These same parents will be bitching about their rotten, unmanagable teens in about 13 years so let them have their brief shining moment before reality sets in.

  3. Maybe you like to post pictures of yourself making that stupid kissy-face. Or pictures of your drooling mutt. Or some other thing that makes some of your friends roll their eyes when it comes up in their feeds. Complaining about what your friends put on their facebooks is kind of like going into their homes and bitching about the pictures they have on their walls.

  4. you can change the setting for your minifeed so pics don’t come up…. i think the reason people post pictures (for the most part??) is so family and friends can enjoy them…….. why are you letting this get to you??

  5. I’d agree with all of that miranda, except i’ve been exposed to a lot of helicopter parents and their old-egg babies, and it’s those freaks on facebook that make me want to crawl the internet walls.yes, you waited till the ‘perfect time’t o have your spawn- you got your career, you got your house, your car, your dog, your perfect dna donor, you got your crushing mortgage and all that’s left is that little infant that will clearly make your nuclear family portrait complete. so what if you’re 43? No problem if it takes years of fertility drugs to squeeze out one child that will be obsessively watched and documented, intent as you are that they will be prodigies, the best human on the planet,a nd make you oh so proud. but to get there you have to monitor and control every tiny aspect of their lives-f rom when they get their first taste of illicit refined suger (the answer is never), to when they start masterbating, to what they write their thesis on in university (you’ll know as you’ll be auditing the course online adn doing half the work for them).I have an aunt like this and if I have to see one more freaking photo shoot that I swear to god is professionally lit, I will scream, then offer to pay for the kid’s shrink later in life.

  6. Fuck you! I have a baby and I put pictures of him on Facebook- because my friends and family ASK me to- I live abroad! I’m not a mom who always talks about their baby either- when people ask I usually give them two sentences and then move on. But the friends who care most about me also care about my baby- and they are the only ‘friends’ I care about on Facebook, so I will happily post pictures of my baby. If you don’t like it, then don’t fucking look! If these things really get to you so much, you’re probably spending way too much fucking time on FB There are alot of things I dont give a shit about seeing on Facebook- like my two honky tonk cousins and their electric guitars trying to be the next Jonas Bros (of Sacville). I accepted their invitations of friendship because it would have been rude not to. Luckily Facebook isnt my life, otherwise I might be as annoyed as the OP.

  7. My cousin is one of these FAIL baby posters. She has over ONE HUNDRED albums of her kids, which she puts up about every two weeks. She has literally documented almost every moment of their lives, and puts them all over facebook for her 300 “friends” to see. I would NEVER put a pic of my baby on facebook, as they can’t possilby consent to their image being plastered all over the internet. I have lived abroad also and email is a much, much, more personal way to update friends and family. I have no issue with people who choose to throw their kids all over fb, but acknowledge that you do it for attention and to brag, not because its the “only way” people can see them.

  8. This is by far, THE stupidest bitch ever! So if I post photos of my baby on Facebook I’m bragging Hellakitty? WTF??? What about all those other nauseating photos people like to post of themselves? Because they’re ALL nauseating considered in context. Facebook is the most narcisistic invention ever- designed to make us all feel like celebrities within out circle of friends and aquaintances. By far the most annoying, the ”STATUS UPDATE”.

  9. Hellakitty, you are a mindreader. Well said. I have a niece-in-law who is equally obsessed with her zygot – I put her in the category of those people who dress up their miniature dogs in teeny-tiny clothes and their appalling accessories.

  10. I don’t mind seeing a few pictures of my friends’ children on FB, but it does become annoying when the kids completely take over their existence. I have one friend in particular, who is an incredibly bright, articulate woman. Her status updates went from being clever and witty to “Debbie is patiently waiting for Devon to go poo poo”. Or, “Mandy is washing the oatmeal out of her little monkey’s hair”. I want to hear about you, not just about your child’s bowel movements.

  11. OMG, If i have to see pictures of someones fucking ugly fucked up dna Pug, I am gonna shit… do they not understand that there is more to life than a ugly dog that will be in pain later in life becuase of its deformity?. They are not cute. Repeat: NOT

  12. Ok you really need to get a life if all you have to bitch about is pictures of peoples babies on facebook. Are you serious? What makes your pictures so interesting to look at? You know you can control what typs of feeds you get try changing yours OR how about you just delete any person you know that has a child or pet and then you don’t have to burrdened with what’s going on in there lives.

  15. If all this “friend” does is post pics of her child, then just go to the “options for newsfeed” and put that person’s name down for people you want to hear LESS about.

  16. No one is forcing any of you to look at any of the pictures, or to be on facebook in the first place. Remove yourself from the god awful place in the middle of your “friends” childern and shut the fuck up. BUT, as hypocritical as this will sound….can we please stop it with the pictures of pregnant stomachs?

  17. Cute is relative. I’m glad you think pugs aren’t cute, good for you. Let’s have a parade. No one cares.

  18. Change your FB status to:__________ is seriously sick and tired of seeing everyone put pictures of their bald, pudgy, beady-eyed little diarrhea factories all over facebook! And post your comments on your status here, please.

  19. listen: post the pics if you must. but don’t get all annoyed if you don’t get millions of comments on them. I can write ‘oh how cute!’ only so many times.

  20. Pictures of babies = zzzzzZZZzzzzzzJust don’t look at the pictures and don’t comment on them. Encourage others to do the same. Your apathy will say more than your bitching in this case.

  21. How about an ugly baby parade, too? I’ve got at least one friend on FB who plasters her child’s photos all over her profile, and the thing is just plain fug.

  22. I think an Ugly Parade would bring out more people than a normal one. People love to stare at ugly things. It can be headed by the pugs, and we’ll put a bunch of ugly babies in little cars to drive around. And we’ll have a whole section of fat people doing acrobatics. Play the Ramones the whole time, and then bring on the politicians!
