I’m so fucking pissed off about these stupid skanks who say things like, “Breastfeeding is disgusting!” or “Nobody’s touching my tits but me and my boyfriend!”
How fucking selfish can you be? Your milk is created by your body to provide your baby with the perfect amount of everything that it needs, and allow it to be healthy. As well, your baby is born with an instinct to suckle, not have a bottle jammed in its mouth!
There is not a single formula on the market today that can match the benefits of breastmilk, so if you’re willing to deny your baby the one thing that will allow it to grow properly, maybe you’re not yet mature enough to have children!

Actually, it’s best that these sluts don’t feed their baby by breast. The shit they put in their body would then pass to the child.
you know, i really take offense to idiots like you OP who dont take into consideration that some of us have medications we take that dont allow us to breastfeed. also, i dont mind saying that i feel the year is 2009….if i dont want to breastfeed i dont have to, that doesnt make me a bad parent and not mature enough to have children….if that were the case i wouldnt be feeing her at all now would i?
I didn’t breastfeed any of my children but I support those who do. I didn’t feel comfortable with it (the thought of cracked, bleeding nipples did me in) and was harassed by do-gooders who thought I was poisoning my babies with Simulac. Let me assure you they all grew to be thriving, health adults. It’s all about choice. Still, I don’t understand opposition to something so natural. I wish North Americans could be more like Europeans in their views of such things.
Not to mention some women cannot produce enough milk.
This is just another case of intolerance by someone who thinks everyone should live like them.
im so fucking pissed off about these high horse women who think they are god because they breastfeed. They treat other women who either choose not to or CANT because of medical and other reasons like theyre abusing their children!
How fucking selfish can YOU be… How about you change places with one of these “stupid skanks” and see whats going on before you judge!!! Its none of your god damn business anyway… its not your child so back off…
Just because someone decides or is unable to breastfeed does not make them not mature enough to have children…
so fuck off OP seriously.. You are not the better then i am because i formula fed my children..
I dont think the OP was referring to people who are “unable” to breast feed – either due to medication or lack of milk production.
I have to say that I kind of agree. Every mammal produces milk for the purpose of feeding its child(ren)
HOWEVER most mammals eat the afterbirth for its nutritional value and I’m not about to do that so I guess I can see where you guys are coming from.
Lactivists make it worse for breastfeeders. They are easily dismissed as extremists or fringe elements. Like previous posters have stated, there are many reasons why women are unable to breastfeed. It is also a personal choice.
Being a breastfeeder myself, I would advocate that healthy, non-smoking women with no medical conditions or medications that would preclude them from breastfeeding give it a go. It can be tough at first, but on the whole it is easy, provides health benefits for mom and child, and helps you shed baby weight in record time.
TTFN: there are lovely pastes to keep the nipples supple if you have a vigourous suckler or dry skin.
Bro Tim: I had production problems when visitors brought cold and flu viruses with them a couple weeks after my son was born. I had quite a fever for four days. The trick is to drink a lot of water (the body cannot make milk when dehydrated) and enhance production with natural or medical galactagogues. I took Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle capsules for two weeks. Production started increasing inside 48 hours. We supplemented with formula until I was back in the game.
I think most of the opposition to breastfeeding comes from 60 years of formula companies marketing “easier” solutions and paying/bribing doctors and hospitals to push formula on new parents. Women/families become locked into formula feeding when the woman’s milk dries up, which spells profit, profit, profit for the manufacturers. Don’t think they have children’s welfare at heart – many formulas have melamine in them (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/pubs/melamine…).
There is also the religious and societal phenomenon that fetishizes the female breast. The breast has been made taboo, verboten, and a focus of sexual desire rather than its true nourishing function. Sexual pleasure is a bonus feature.
Sorry, did not mean to go on at such length.
People, stop freaking out! The OP is talking about young girls who CHOOSE not to breast feed when they are perfectly able because they are selfish and think it’s disgusting. No one is putting down people who cannot breast feed for other reasons!
Breast milk is best for baby, studies indicate that babies should be drinking breast milk up until the age of 2 to reach their full potential in brain development, it also bonds the baby to the mom during the process. These babies are going to end up less intelligent, and less socially adapted to their family as a result. Once again, the stupid kids of this generation are breeding and creating the stupid kids of the next.
Listen People are Stupid, you just managed to insult the people who choice not or unable to breastfeed. I didn’t for several reasons, and my kid is now six, very healthy, well beyond her peers in terms of growth and she’s one of the top kids in her class. So enough with the formula-fed-kids-are-dumber argument.
And she and I have a great bond.
“paying/bribing doctors and hospitals to push formula on new parents. “
first off hospitals make you feel like shit too if you chose to formula feed.. the iwk nurses gave me a hard time with all three…
“These babies are going to end up less intelligent, and less socially adapted to their family as a result.”
Hey People Are Stupid.. you’re a fucking moron.. enough said…
Can men breastfeed?
Expert Answers
Jan Barger, lactation consultant
Yes, in theory, men can breastfeed. Male breasts have milk ducts, and some mammary tissue. They also have oxytocin and prolactin, the hormones responsible for milk production. There have been reports of men who were able to produce milk through extensive breast and nipple stimulation, but no one knows whether the milk was of the same composition or quality as the kind women produce. Using a pump, or a feeding tube (a small silicone tube attached to a plastic bottle filled with formula) at his breast, he might be able to get a baby to latch on and suckle, but how long it would take to produce even drops of milk is anyone’s guess.

Oh lactivists. You’re such a special kind of crazy. and probably mostly formula fed, considering the generation.
I breastfed my son for over a year.
Bon, I just hope that year of breastfeeding wasn’t preceeded by seven years on the bottle…
Can men Breast feed- HKM on HRM.
Sounds like fun to me, just let me get that baby off your nipple first 😉
I really, really should have anticipated that one = )
But, on the plus side, More isn’t expressing revulsion or disgust.
Men generally feel strongly one way or the other (and so, it seems, do females).
One guy visiting* my house mistakenly use the breast milk in the fridge to whiten his coffee, and when I asked who left my breast milk on the table, he virtually turned green, spit his coffee out and ran to the bathroom gagging.
I came in another morning to a male visitor* who had used breast milk on his cereal. When I told him that it was breast milk, he shrugged and kept on eating. I thought that was pretty cool (although, I was dismayed–it took me forever to express that milk).
*Disclaimer (for the perverted and the narrow-minded):
I have 4 brothers who show up at any given time with friends in tow.
I agree with the OP. Breast milk has antibodies that will make your baby resistant to infection. Women who are unable to breastfeed for various reasons must admit their babies are still missing the immune systems benefits that breast fed babies enjoy. Sorry lalala and Hfxgirl but youre in denial.
*shrug* I wasn’t breastfed and I grew up to be an intelligent, socially well-adjusted, healthy, thriving adult/member of society.
Ok that’s a lie. I was breastfed for a week, but was constantly crying because I wasn’t getting enough to eat, so my mom tried the formula samples they had been sent home from the hospital with. I stfu and mom called dad and told him to get a case of it on his way home from work and that’s what I was fed (that and pablum) until solids or whenever babies stop drinking formula.
I know the OP is talking about stupid teenagers who are probably too immature to be fucking, let alone procreating, but some comments on here (PAS, for example) kinda frosted my cupcakes.
I nearly bit my mom’s nip off when I was a babe. It still bothers me.
Nova Scotia has the lowest to 2nd lowest rate of breast feeding in the entire country, and it’s one of the lowest by far margin.
Many of the current epidemics we have, of diseases, such as diabetes, or various immune system disorders, including some cancers, have been linked, in part, to people not having received colostrums (anti-bodies in breastmilk) when they were infants.
Some breast cancers have also been linked to women non-nursing women.
Breastfeeding is good all around!
We need to put the proper infrastructure in place so that families can feed their babies. If it’s an emergency, then sure use formula, but otherwise, we should accept that nursing has it’s tough points on occassion (as well as it’s great points!), and should support women as much as possible while they nurse to make it easier on them.
Right now it’s not easy for them. In fact it’s harder to do so here than in most places in North America and this discourages new mom’s from even trying in the first place. It’s seen as almost an odd thing to do here and those who openly support it are often viewed as eccentric.
-Blagh- Excuse the typos, I hadn’t had any tea or coffee yet. :p
I have a former friend who breastfed her kid for FIVE FUCKING YEARS!!! I thought that was positively sick and she would argue to the nth degree about the positive effects of breast feeding. But when an ankle biter has teeth??? I honestly couldn’t be friends with her anymore because of this.
Sure, go ahead and breastfeed you child all the harmful chemicals you have in your body….and don’t think for a second that you breast milk is cleaner and healthier than formula. Hope you enjoy having your child grow up autistic because of your contaminated breast milk.
I tried to breastfeed my child but I had no help from the nurses and I didn’t know what to do. I was only 17 and they pushed pumping on me and then when I wasn’t producing enough they told me to get her formula. They didn’t want to take the time to show me how to do it right. So maybe some teens arnt breastfeeding because the nurses arnt caring enough to help them. Either way its their choice and none of your fucking business.
Btw, my kid was formula feed and she’s rarely sick and has never had to go to the hospital or anything. She has a great immune system. There’s a lot of shit that contributes to problems with kids, not just if they’re breastfeed or not.
“These babies are going to end up less intelligent, and less socially adapted to their family as a result.”
To defend my own quote, if I had said the breast milk fed babies will end up with a more developed brain and with a closer bond to Mom, would you have been quite as upset?
The average kid these days is NOT breast fed for 2 years (I certainly wasn’t), so I’m not saying that we’re all idiots, I’m saying we probably all didn’t reach our full potential when it comes to early brain development. And it’s been well known for years that breast feeding is important for the mother child bond.
For more info I suggest reading the book The Crazy Makers by Carol Simontacchi, which is where I learned about the benefits of breast milk.
Well i think its up tot he person who is going to “breast feed” if it hurts or anything and want to use powder then i say use powder! if u wanna pump it then feed the baby then do so
