To all the awful customers out there who take out their bad day on students just trying to live-
I’m a human being, I do my best, when I handle you in your awful mood… still with a smile and kindness you have no right to treat me like your personal slave, like I’m lower than you, or like I’m an idiot.
For your information: I have more education than you. I actually enjoy my book-selling job because I can encourage people to read. I am not an idiot because you misunderstood something- your behaviour is abuse.
To all the shoppers out there, please THANK someone who gives you excellent customer service- even if it’s a job where it’s always expected or always happens… we’re people too
