I take the last #10 from Dal every night, however the driver on Tuesday Night actually kept checking his mirror for running passengers prior to leaving Dal! I have seen him many times lately and it is always the same thing. After starting to leave he noticed a student running and stopped the bus and waited. This sort of thing is noticed and appreciated hopefully by many. Hats off to the driver of the last #10 on Tuesday nights. “He is not bad to look at either.” —Thankful Rider

You should call the HRM call centre and leave a comment and ask them to send it on along to his supervisor 🙂
I like to do that when I get great service. Restaurants, banks, stores, etc…. Usually if you tell their supervisor they’ll a) know they’re doing a good job and b) often relay that back to the employee which helps to brighten up a day. I know whenever I’ve been complimented by someone at work I’ve felt great 🙂
If that eventually got to that drivers supervisor, he’d actually probably get in trouble since he’s not picking the passengers up at the designated bus stops, which just happens to be an issue with Metro Transit…not that I agree with that or anything.
Call in the compliment I say (get at least a bus # or a route and time if you can’t get the # in the window), brass loves to hear them and you may just make the driver’s day.
Just leave out the parts where he’s doing stuff he’s not supposed to be doing (even though it’s really nice stuff!). heehee.
