A sign of the times.
Yeah people who constantly text are lame people … but I am not familiar with the Canada Games Centre, I don’t think I’ve ever been there. Do you have to pay for a membership? Was her text-walking preventing other people from using the space?
No, OB is simply being old. So fucking what if she’s texting and exercising? Who cares if you don’t like what she was doing. She did nothing wrong and broke no rules. Stop making older people like like knobs OB.
She was probably submitting a bitch to the coast about snow clearing.
Ageist!
There’s a protocol on tracks. Slower runners/walkers should keep to the outside lanes. Even then, if someone is in your lane and moving slower than you, the protocol is to call out, “coming through” to let the slower person know someone wants to pass. So next time, OB, keep your lane and simply yell “coming through”. Hopefully, the texter will get the message and move to the outside of that lane or to the next lane so you can get by.
