listen up, dickbag, if I am walking down the street, smoking a cigarette, it is completely within my rights to do so. Similarly, if you are running down the street, sweating buckets in your lame ass doo-rag and too small spandex, it is your right to do so. I could have commented to you on my disapproval of your ridiculous attire” wow you look like an idiot!”, or on the bio-hazard that you are while you sweat your bodily fluid all over the general population: “wow, you are repulsive!”, but I would not do that, because I prefer to mind my own business. Perhaps you should learn to do the same. I didn’t ask for your opinion, I didn’t wish to speak to you, nor was I interested in your commentary. So, when you ran across the street, into my path, and said to me “Wow, you stink” it left me with only one logical response: “Wow. You are an asshole!” — sweat smells like flowers

  1. It was not his place to say that to you. But smokers do stink and you made a conscious decision to smoke on a public sidewalk and jeopardize (to a very miniscule point) his/others health.

Now you say its within your right, is it also within your right to spew carcinogens at every person you walk by?

At this point I have to point out that I quit smoking in January so currently my attitude towards smokers is extremely militant. But they do stink…… real bad!

  2. I’ve smoked on and off, was quit for 4 years but am smoking a bit again. I know for a fact that when I wasn’t smoking I didn’t give a shit whether other people did, and it didn’t bug me if I smelled it – after all, there’s a lot worse smells and health hazards the second-hand cigarette smoke. Some of these anti-tobacco retards wouldn’t think twice about sucking in wood smoke, or sitting in rush hour traffic with the window open.

The ones that get me are the passive-aggressive fuckheads like the jogger you mentioned. Aggressive because they go out of their way to make a comment or perpetrate a stupid little cough. I’ve had a few idiots produce artificial coughs when they are like 10 or 20 yards *upwind*, which I guess says all that needs to be said about their IQ’s.

Passive because it never occurs to them that sooner or later them insulting someone may result in a punch to their face. It takes a special kind of retard to deliberately choose the one path out of several that puts them in the smoke, just so they can concoct some faux annoyance – if they dislike smoke then why are they putting themselves in it?

  3. Thing is op, smokers still have a legal right to smoke on the street. Of course, he has a right to tell you you stink. He didn’t demand you put it out. He merely exercised his right just as you were exercising yours. He just happens to be a dick. If your smell or the smoke offended him, why did he make a point of crossing your path? To be a giant dick about everything.

I would have tripped him. Oops.. SORRY. But i don’t recommend that op. Unless you can REALLY make it look like an accident, that IS illegal.

  4. “WOW!”

“So, when you ran across the street, into my path, and said to me ‘Wow, you stink’ it left me with only one logical response. ‘Wow. You are an asshole!'” (sweat smells like flowers)

An excellent rejoinder, sweat. Not the “asshole” part. The “Wow” part. A more nausea-inducing expression is impossible to find. Anyone who says “Wow” is a mouth-breathing idiot. Not you, sweat, You were just – and rightly – being sarcastic. Well done!

    A pleasure as always.

    Cheerio!

  5. So, I guess I have the “right” to stand on the street corner and point out everyone’s faults as they walk by, and I also have the “right” to not have my ass kicked by someone who dislikes my “right”. Right?

Personally, I would have took a big old drag and blew it in his face and said “now you stink too, motherfucker”.

  6. I don’t see what the big deal is, we’re all going to die in the next 20 years anyway, to make room for the robot overlords.

  7. Maybe the rude non-smokers like him can go to uniacke square and impose their morality on a group of fine youths? Save us from all the evil smokers? Didn’t think so.
