Alas, I arrived 1/3rd into the middle of this dicks rant, so no, I was useless to prevent said tears. Crankster assessed the situation, saw that the store manager had things well in hand and was dealing with this douche the best he could, so it was determined that ‘stepping in’ would have only exasperated the situation, and by the time I got close enough the poor dear had already left for the staff barfroom. Also, other staff were quick to step in, obviously restrained by their desires to remain employed, so I suppose I could have filled the void left by this restraint, but in the end I had to make the call to leave this to the powers that be. I didn’t want to make the situation any worse than it already was.
I hope she’s recovered, which I’m sure she has.
So, no regs, I was not able to unleash both barrels. Yes, another one of those ‘do nothing bitchers’….. but…. this dick is easily identified so I’ll be sure to post up my fury when I see him elsewhere. (oh crap, another LTWWB cliche.)
Cranky you should said all that in the OB. One would have no idea if it was an employee or a customer being ragged at or if it was two males, two females or one of each. What was the idiot ranting about?
..and you just know the whole problem was mind-numbingly miniscule. He was overcharged by 29 cents on his Bulls Eye Old Hickory BBQ sauce.
Maybe he was raging because his bbq sauce wasn’t in a squeeze bottle, eh?
