Sat night, I was downtown on my way to a concert. There were cops everywhere, probably because of the Grand Parade concert and Elton John concert. And of course, there were many bums begging. I have no problem with someone asking for a little help, but for the two little bastards bumming money outside Tim Hortons on Barrington street, your cause is pittiful.
Here they are asking for spare change while they are smoking a joint. Fuck You
do the taxpayers a favor, and die

Another person who seems to think that someone else smoking a joint somehow affects them
In this particular case it did. These two were sitting on the door steps, and had to ask them to move to get in to the tim hortons. So if you dont know the whole story, shut the fuck up! You must be another person that seems to think you are immune to laws
Them sitting on the steps is a seperate thing from what they were smoking. Sitting on the steps is not illegal. However, smoking that close to a door way is (assuming that marijuana is treated the same way as tobacco in regards to that law). And I am just a person who believes if I do something that does not affect someone else, no one has the right to tell me not to do it. In this case with the clarified details I think that they were in the wrong.
It sounded like her point was if you can afford to buy some pot then you shouldn’t be begging for change . Or maybe try not doing both at the same time .
Perhaps, but I focused on the subject making this a legality bitch.
That’s it – I’m getting a Tim’s cup and setting up shop on the corner of Barrington and George with my three farting cats and a shoe horn stuck up my nose – hey, if they can afford to smoke up, I should be able to as well.
