Metro Transit is far from perfect. Assy (racist?) drivers, unpredictable schedules, jerky braking… yeah, it’s awful.

It was last Thursday and the snow and rain made it almost impossible to see, let alone walk. I jumped on the bus (better to be on the bus than under it, I always say) and couldn’t find my transfer. I assured the driver that I had one, but I couldn’t find it in my over-stuffed and snow-sodden bag. The driver told me not to worry about it (“it’s really miserable out there”) and gave me a ride anyway.

When I finally got home, I found the damn transfer (it was in my pocket, of course.) So even if the weather sucked, this was one time when Metro Transit actually didn’t.

Thanks, #80 bus driver.

  1. So this is not a bitch, right?

You wasted my time reading about something good! If I wanted to do that, I would have went over to Love the way we Love. But, I did not want that. I wanted to share other people’s misery.

    Thanks alot, Loser!

  2. Most of the drivers are excellent, there are a few that may have some issues. I’ve lived in the city about 7 years and have not once been cut off by a Metro Transit bus or had any altercation with any of the drivers.

  3. Good thing it wasn’t the bus driver who attacked the protesters fake seal. He probably would have bashed you in the head.

  4. Move this one to the Love section. I’m always a fan of transit love (on this website of course).

  5. you people that bitch about the drivers I say “Find something else to b-about”. They get us back and forth safe everyday, For once its nice to see someone say something nice to a driver, it probably makes them feel better, especially having a job that is so stressful and with low moralle in the company. Put your bitching self in their shoes see how long you will last you losers!
