I work in Fleming Park (for those who don’t know where that is, it’s where the Dingle Tower is; to those who don’t know where that is, it’s in Halifax, Nova Scotia; to those who don’t know where that is, BUY A FUCKING MAP!!) and there was a couple there early this morning with their cameras taking pictures of the tower, fauna, any wildlife, whatever! The guy sat down on a log to wait for the girl to finish. When he got up there was dog shit all over his jacket, shirt and hands (because he used his hands to lift himself off of the log)!
Whoever left that shit there, you’re a fucking piece of shit and I hope someday someone flushes assholes like you down the toilet!! I saw him look down before sitting down and also before hoisting himself up. He probably didn’t see the shit because the log was off the ground (who expects a dog to walk up onto a partially elevated log to take a dump?) and the color blended with the log. I see this ALL the time in the park and I usually look the other way but NO MORE!
The next person I see not taking care of it I will take a photo with my camera, approach them and ask them to properly dispose of it. If you give me any lip your fucking ass is grass and I’m a fucking lawn mower! It’s a goddam by-law asshole!
Pick it up and get rid of it! Don’t put it in a bag and then leave the bag somewhere you lazy fuck-up! Put it in the trash bin/can/receptacle… they’re all over the place! —Disappointed in the asshole race I was born into

Dog shit in the woods is not a problem. Dog shit is relatively harmless. It will disappear after some rain and some bugs get at it.
Halifax is disgustingly dirty with litter. People throwing their empty fast food containers all over the ground. That shit is disgusting but people spend more time complaining about dog shit!
halisucks is atlantic canada’s dump, that’s for sure. when you see big government dumping on us, just about every fucking day. and it will only get worse. this province was one of the best spots to live in, not even 10 years ago, we were in all the tourist mags. where does it show we are now, way the fuck at the back, i think. and litter is part of the reason, the other being taxes.
Maybe we should all start picking up the shit that people put in bags and leave on the sidewalk. Get enough of it and drop it on the steps of shitty hall, er, I mean city hall. Then it’s the mayor’s problem. Maybe he’ll start cracking down on the more minor offenses then. Start charging people with this shit and generating a cash flow for the HRM. Buy cheap point-and-shoot digital cameras for the cops so they can start gathering evidence.

Do you think maybe, that shit on the log could’ve possibly came from a wild animal that lives in the park?, and not someone’s dog….just can’t picture a dog balancing and squatting on an elevated log.
I think it’s important to pick up after your dog when its done on someone’s lawn or public place….but in the woods? really? No one is following all of the other critters around picking up their shit! When you’re in the wilderness be aware of the shit!
I pick up my dog’s doodoo in a bag and then when I see a public garbage can, i dispose of it. So don’t come bitching at me. But people who don’t pick it up should be made to lick it up.
Dollarama sells 60 ‘poop bags’ that are biodegradable and smell like chocolate for $1. I always have 3 in my pocket for just incase.
I wish other dog owners would grow some balls and pick up their dog’s shit! They are making us all look bad!!!

Dog shit on the ground is just not only in NS, it’s a problem from Newfoundland to BC and everywhere in between, it has nothing to do with dogs though, it’s their lazy fucking owners. If you can’t take care of the pet, you shouldn’t have one.
