11:25 PM at Scotia Square. Your last run for the night. I was a few feet away from the doors when you started the engine and pulled away, I ran and yelled to get your attention. The bus slowed down just enough for me to bang on the door. Instead of being a nice person and opening the door for me, you pulled away. There’s no way you didn’t see or hear me. I called the hotline but they close at 11. Makes sense, buses are only running till 12:30. Its 1am and I’m almost home. Two months of hell finding another full time job because of the strike. $78 a month for a bus pass. How the Hell do you people sleep at night? —sunday shift starts at 8am

You’ll take some heat from the regs for banging on the door. You should have smiled and made a cock sucking motion.
Strike? Is there a bus strike?
Was that you, Wheels? Trying to keep your happy bus empty? Ya douchebag!!!!
Nice job OP, funny thing is though, if you were there at 11:25 as you say you were you would not have missed the bus, seeing as all buses pull out at 11:30.
If ALL buses pulled out at 11:30 that would be quite the traffic jam. I submit that doubledown pulled that figure out of his ass and just assumed it to be true, but a quick look at a few schedules will confirm that NOT all buses are scheduled to leave at 11:30.
Like the transit system in Hali follows a schedule …. hahahaha still laughing trying to post comment ….. hahahaha!
Ya, no shit. Metro Transit buses never run late! They run EARLY!!!! Ha ha ha. we suck.
I’ve seen drivers that have eyes in the back of their head to wait for a passenger that was a block away….not all are bad.
I vote that Cranky go double check Sunday service schedules, most buses that leave Barrington and Duke on Sunday leave either at :15 :30: 45 or :00 with the 10 Dal bound being the only exception leaving at :21 & :51.
Y’know, I can see not letting ‘runners’ on if it’s rush hour or during the day and people need to get transfers, etc… but the last run of the night? Driving away is just a dick move. Especially when it can mean some people are stranded.
And Klyde’s right: some driver are cool ass motherfuckers.
I suspect you were late arriving at said bus stop and the driver did not see you until it was too late, and he/she was already pulled out from the curb when you came running up to and banging on the bus. Once we leave the curb we are not to stop again. There is a reason for this, it is called safety. Why don’t you talk to one of the overpaid underqualified management morons who run this farce known as Metro Transit? Get a fucking clue, the world does not revolve around you alone asswipe.
wow, openly bashing your management publicly with no fear or remorse…
He’s going Sheen on us.
zZzedward, if the shoe fits…….
