Dude, all job losses are “damaging job losses.” And, whats up with the “Steven Harper’s government”? The last time I checked they were called the Government of Canada. —Most Annoyed at How Often I Have to Hear the Same Ad

  1. The only time that the N.D.P., the C.L.C. and C.U.P.E. can ever bring themselves to give a fuck about our military – when civvie jobs are on the line.

  2. I’ll amend my comment. The N.D.P. Defence critic and M.P. for Sackville-Eastern Shore is one of the few pols of any stripe whose support for our military comes off as sincere. He’d make a much better M.N.D. than that dolt we have now, even if he is brave enough to fly in C.F. equipment.

  3. Please do me the favor of reminding me why you HAVE to hear it?
Is it beamed straight into your head???
    Wear a Tinfoil hat ffs!

  4. Apparently you didn’t get the memo. It’s now called “Harperland”, as long as you are rich, an oil baron or a corporation, then you get a free ride.

  5. apparently someone voted harper in, so now, you have to suck it up for a bit longer. if you whine and bitch now, wait til the liberals get back in. jobs, fuck, there won’t be any in canada making over 5 bucks an hour with them in power. at least the minimum wage goes up some with harper and others. but wait til the next voting day, and get the fuck out to ACTUALLY VOTE. you don’t mark an x, you got no fucking right to bitch.
yeah i know, you should have all the rights, sorry, not voting means a no say in this world. try working for a company that has a board. if you get votes yay over nay, then it goes ahead. nay over yay, then it doesn’t go ahead. simple as that, even for a simpleton such as yourself, right?

  6. Col Ivan, I agree with you about the MP you speak of and used to vote for him – until he flip-flopped on the gun registry after which I couldn’t bring myself to vote for him again.

  7. Except the Harper Government refers to itself as the Harper Government, not the Government of Canada, the tradition since 1867.

  8. W.T. – I had forgotten about that and, yes, it was disappointing. On the first Saturday of Occupy, the Cenotaph in the Grand Parade had been defaced with a banner and signs placed around the base and I was flipping out. He was the only person (federal or municipal) who responded to my phone messages. He called me in person, at work at 6:00 that very evening to ask for more details. I didn’t hear squat from the M.P. whose riding it occurred in. I sent him some pictures and, I don’t know what action he may or may not have taken but by the next day, the banner and signs had been removed. I was impressed by his response.
But yeah, the gun registry flipflop was nothing to be proud of.

  9. Yes, I agree entirely as far as I can understand the ad but it’s difficult picking the station up clearly here in Montreal on my crystal set.

    A pleasure as always.

    Cheerio!

  10. Thank Fuck, as a taxpayer, that CRA and Stern have torpedoed the re-opening of the Port Hawkesbury Mill and Taxpayer Cash Emporium, despite millions given in bribes, err incentives, to keep this 21st Century version of DEVCO/Sydney Steal afloat. As General John Cabot Trail said “down with the causeway” – keep the money in Halifax and area, rural Canada is fuckadoodledone.

  11. Stop the presses – our fearless leader and financially incompetent Premier has just given even more to Stern to keep the whining capers quiet. He claims we’ll get the money back in 12 years and also reap $150million in taxes – are you fucking serious?
This, and all the other sweetheart deals him and his posse of socialist poontang have done are just vote buying.
