Sounds like someone collecting a welfare check and lacking an understanding of how taxes work due to the fact that they dont contribute to them. Tax dollars fix those shelters.
Bus shelter smashers deserve a special place in hell, in my mind.
Anyone who gets caught breaking bus shelter glass should have to walk barefoot through it for 8 hours a day for a month.
From my experience driving around the city, I have seen only one person that actually repairs the galss at these bus-shelters. It would make sense to me that this man, or whom ever he works for, is contracted out to build/repair all of the glass bus-shelters throughout the city. It would also be convient for this contactor to pay some punk to smash out glass at different shelters so that he can fix them for a profit. Broken glass=business
Metro Transit should just refuse to replace the glass. Or replace it with electrified wiring.
