Why are there so many stories in the news these days involving severe cruelty to animals? Cat in the microwave. Cat set on fire with lighter fluid. Most of these acts appear to be caused by children. What kind of values are parents and teachers instilling these kids with that they do not see the wonder and beauty that animals give to mankind.
It’s a sick sick society we live in that allows this to go on.

Well Critter Hugger, I have to agree that it is 1 sick society we live in with all the Jeffrey Dahmers and such. You can be assured that that little ones today that are abusing and killing animals will surely grow up to be skinning people soon enough. I for the life of me have no idea what todays parents are or are not instilling in their demon spawn. When I stepped out of line as a kid, I’d be guaranteed of a righteous beating by my dad. I guess today, if you did that you’d spend some time in the big house. Now how fucked up is that.Politically correct has gone over the cliff. Jesus I love my kitties.
I totally agree. It makes me sick to know that these things are happening. I literally do not watch the news or anything that resembles the news because of all the horrible animal cruelty stories. It baffles me that people need license to drive a car but ANYONE can have kids. I realize that many people need to work two jobs to run a household and their kids are suffering because of it. And in turn society is suffering as we contend with these devil-kids. I can’t even begin to understand why people do deplorable things to animals. They should all be kept in a cage underground.
I think we can all agree that in a few years any children of Frannie will grow up to beat animals.Seriously, I would love to walk down the street and see some guy beating a dog. Over the fence I’d go…One time I heard this story about a grown man walking into a play ground and beating up a kid. For no reason. I would love to see that too. I could derive no better satisfaction from jumping someone hurting someone who is helpless.End masochism here.
