I want to express how proud I am of the people who are out on the front lines fighting big business in Alton. The government throws out land treaty deals whenever the atrocities become more profitable. This practice of contaminating clean water for a business investment should be laughable. After all who in their right mind would trade life for money? Everyday the government sells us or our freedoms for profit. The people out there protesting are heroes. Throw caution to the wind and put yourself right on the front lines. So many of us are scared to or unable to because we’re bogged down working the bullshit lives the government forces us into. I work for the oppressing force handling security at the protest site and have expressed my displeasure with said employer to the point where I think I will leave. Throw away a good paying job for your beliefs? Why, fuck yes. I’m no sheep. And I will be happy without a job if I have clean water. The plan of the government is to marketize all natural resources. The stuff in life that used to be free. Fight the Power. Keep up the good work! There are lots of us who can’t be there, who support you!! The sooner we get back to marching and protesting like the ‘60s, the sooner we, the people, get our power back. —Maybe Not!!??

It would appear you have given your power to the government already by voting incorrectly; or if you did at all…
This issue saddens me greatly. I owned a farm in Alton back in the 1980s. It’s such a beautiful, pristine area and doesn’t deserve the toxic vomiting of this fucking business. Sadly, I’ve learned over the decades that money trumps nature & our planet will continue to deteriorate under greed’s greasy thumb.
The government is full of bought, and paid for, corporate shills. It’s laughable that YHZ actually thinks that you can vote “correctly”, lol. There isn’t a corporate entity that doesn’t double down on their campaign contributions, making it a win win for them, and a lose lose for the poor suckers that have to clean up their giant, expensive messes. Just wait until we have an oil spill off our coast, and the oil company hands us a check for 100 million and walks away.
