Listen, I get it. Along with your $0.75, you accidentally threw in a washer, or a foreign coin, or a piece of pocket lint instead of that Canadian quarter you meant to use to pay your bridge fare. And backing up to throw in another quarter was clearly beyond you. Fine. But when I throw in the change to cover your trip, the least, the absolute least you could do is acknowledge me with a wave or a thumbs-up before speeding away. Asshole. —Trying to get good karma has never made me angrier

Petty.
A piece of pocket lint instead of that Canadian quarter? Where does he work, in the lead mines?
tommy get dinged again???
😛
You did yourself the bigger favour by expediting the other driver … rather than waiting while they potentially spent time looking for a quarter. And, anyway, expecting appreciation and gratitude for small favours is not really in keeping with the spirit of generosity.
The courtesy wave is a powerful tool
Sounds like good karma is going for a bargain, only 25 cents.
I usually throw my dollar in one quarter at a time. I’m never in a rush but everyone else is.
