To a certain waitress: please please please stop putting your thumbs in my soup!!! I know that those little bowls are hard to grasp, but it’s beyond gross and unsanitary to see you dipping that chipped nail polish into my food!

  1. A lot of places that deal with food don’t allow their employees to wear nail polish. If you work for a certain seattle-based coffee shop you have to take your nail polish off before your shift so you don’t get chips in the food/drinks.

Complain to the manager. Nailpolish can chip very easily and end up in someone’s food.

  2. You are getting more than nail polish with your soup, GOC. Every dirty plate the waitress touches becomes part of your soup. Bacteria accumulation on the underside of a long fingernail also becomes a part of your meal. Servers should be more aware of proper food handling! Managers should insist upon it!

  3. Oceanlady ewwww!!!!
that is so gross! very thru though also every table she has touched and evrythign that was on the table ALSO hopefulys he doesnt deal with money either!

  4. why don’t you say something to them instead of posting about it here, you coward.

  5. Fuck, we’ve become such a goddamn germphobic society that we’re gonna cripple our immune systems if we don’t get a reasonable amount of germs for our bodies to fight. If you were starving, you wouldn’t care if her whole fucking hand was soaking in the soup.

However, if this is truly an issue, something should have been said at the time like: ‘Why is your fucking thumb doing the backstroke in my soup??’
