Seems to me someone forgot to take into account the number of people in a small town who can afford to or care to eat high-end food. Blaming ‘readiness’ seems graceless.

There are a few good places to eat in hfx, and most foodies know where to go, and the majority of the places are not ‘refined’. Some ARE overpriced for wha they are, though, but they have found a market to enable them to be successful. no big deal, I just don’t go to those particular spots…
