Really? Halifax isn’t “ready” for your food? You pretentious fuck. If you knew the first thing about food you’d know that you’re cooking for others first, and not your own high-and-mighty, breast-icled ass. “At the end of the day it’s just food”, motherfucker, so quit dumping your lack of success on a whole city and admit to your own, tremendous shortcomings. —Fed Up

  1. Seems to me someone forgot to take into account the number of people in a small town who can afford to or care to eat high-end food. Blaming ‘readiness’ seems graceless.

I’ve never eaten his food because I’ve become quite talented at creating my own high-end food. Food allergy necessitation be the mother of invention.

  2. He claimed we have “small town” attitudes because we don’t want to pay $20 for a small chicken breast. Well, let me flip you a small town middle finger you fat fuck.

  3. The problem is, there are many many, restaurants in town that charge similar prices and they are pretty busy. Maybe he shouldn’t have located in a parking garage?

  4. That was Liz Feltzam(sp, sry) who made the chicken remark, former foodie writer for The Coast, so direct your finger in her direction…

  5. There are a few good places to eat in hfx, and most foodies know where to go, and the majority of the places are not ‘refined’. Some ARE overpriced for wha they are, though, but they have found a market to enable them to be successful. no big deal, I just don’t go to those particular spots…

  6. Hey, we’re all a bunch of cheap hicks. I’m ok with that!! Most people want tasty food made with fresh ingredients, and they don’t want to be charged a ridiculous amount for the “privilege” of eating your food.
