I love this time of year. I love the decorations and the smell of Christmas trees. I love that my 2 year old can’t wait meet Santa and that soon we’ll be able to build snow men. I love on Christmas morning when my brother puts on Alabama Christmas while we open presents. Most of all….I love that come 6pm on December 24th that the whole world seems to shut down just a little so that everyone can go to their family and friends homes and enjoy what the holidays are all about.
—Santa Clause…I still believe in you
This article appears in Nov 26 – Dec 2, 2009.

I believe there will always be a Santa as long as there are children t
hat believe there is one.
— I still believe–
Everyone should believe in Santa as we are all Santa’s at some point in our Lives. And even if you only give one stranger a gift at Christmas. You should feel proud that you helped make someone smile even for just a little while .Christmas is the spirit of giving not receiving so come on every one I challenge you all to give a stranger a gift.
I Will Always Believe
This is what Christmas Spirit is 🙂
I also love 6pm on Christmas Eve… so cold and quiet. It really is magical.
Oh Santa Claus, I still believe in you
And there’s still a kid inside of me that still believes you’re true
Oh Santa Claus, the kids are tucked in tight
And it’s time to play ole Santa Clause tonight…
Santa LIVES!
When I have children, they will never believe in Santa
I work in a building that still does a childrens Christmas party every year. One of the older gentlemen *always* dresses as Santa (he’s great- comes with authentic beard and all), and a small gift is given out.
Two years ago one of my co workers brought their little girl to the party. She was about 5, and they had been teaching her that there was no Santa, but that other people wanted their children to believe so she wasn’t to tell anyone what she knew.
They let her bring a little friend to the party with her, and on the way home overheard her saying to her friend, “See, I told you Mommy and Daddy were wrong. Santa was there and I got JUST what I asked for!”.
My story doesn’t have much bearing on this bitch, it just makes me smile so I thought I’d pass it on. 🙂
What a cute storey – I`m glad you passed it on. My little man is 2 and half and about a month ago told me a big story about how Ho Ho lives in the north pole and is making presents for him and all the other kids because he`s a good boy. He learned it from daycare. My eyes completely watered up listening to his enthusiasm about it. Every day on the drive home he points out all the decorations, lights and candy canes and today when we woke up to a little snow he couldn`t wait to roll a ball of snow. Kids are amazing … I believe in the spirit of Christmas every time I look into their eyes.
Santa is THE MAN!!
