You’re nine years older than me, and my boss. But I’m still pretty much in serious like with you. —Young-ish One

  1. but don’t shit on your own doorstep. Dating your boss? THAT breakup is going to suck. and not for your boss.

  2. Sometimes age is just a number, yo’.

I’ve known guys who were 11 years older than me (and dated them for a brief spell), but might as well’ve been 11 years younger (and I was 22 at the time!), but I also know a couple guys who are in their early 20s, but might as well be in their 30s. It’s really a toss up. Intelligence helps. Older guy was dumb as a post (TURN OFF++), but the guys in their early 20s are smart as FUCK.

So I don’t see how the age thing is a big deal. HOWEVER, don’t EVER EVER date anyone you work with LET ALONE YOUR BOSS. It’s HARD sometimes not getting involved with co-workers, especially when the feelings are very mutual, but damn. Don’t do it. Ever.

  3. Well said, PK. It’s all about the individual because everyone is different, that’s how you get 40 y/o children, and incredibly mature young 20’s kids.

The farthest I’ve gone outside my age was a girl 8 years my senior. We were in college together, so almost as bad as working together sometimes. It worked great tho, I saw no problems with the age gap, especially since we were both mature. She was also really pretty, so that helped 😉

  4. Yep, figuratively speaking, Zed. I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if I worked at Honey Hut Portable Toilet Company! Honey Hut…I must say, the name gave me a chuckle the first time I saw it. Tee hee

  5. They should expand their business…
Honey Hut portable toilets and sandwich shop.
We shit where we eat and we like it!
