Right- on ShittyD. The cheaters (men and women) strike me as people who have very poorly developed egos–they tend to fall to the material/instant gratification side of things. I really feel for you OP, and while Shitty and Zed are right, it still must really hurt.
I hope you are OK. Try to move forward, but don’t ignore how you feel, and don’ t beat yourself up if you have a hard time coping some days. I hope you have a good friend you can talk to about this–find the few trusting peeps in your world and ask for their discretion and emotional support. If you have a hard time doing this, remember how important it is for your son to have emotional balance in his life. Then remind yourself that emotional balance is no less important for you as a person, outside of your role as father.

I truly feel for OP, I have been married 3 times throughout my life, I was always faithful to them while married, but all 3 accused me otherwise. How little did they know how wrong they were. To do that again would take an exceptional woman, and to date, none exist.
