Dear University:
I’m sure your administrators aren’t all idiots. It certainly seems like they are, but you just can’t get this concentration of incompetence by fluke. In the guidance department, in the registrar’s office, in the biology department, and elsewhere- it’s almost impossible to get someone to do their job. You, oh provider of knowledge and wisdom, have created an atmosphere of incompetence and apathy. Please provide your administrators with the tools and training to do their job properly, because… oh forget it, I’ve already lost my mind. —so, so, SO frustrated.

  1. If your mind is boggled and you are frustrated then they have done their job. Their role is to meet the needs of the university rather than address your wants and desires.

  2. If, by “administrators”, you mean administrative staff (formerly known as clerks or secretaries) then you may be out of luck. I’m sure there are many who are diligent responsible people but there quite a few of them in the public sector who are both bitter about their station in life and complacent about their own duties. Many of them are discontented with being at or near the bottom of the hierarchy and spend their time griping to each other or nosing through the salaries of their superiors rather than trying to improve their own education and training.

The lesson: stay in school and get a decent education kids!

  3. DO YOUR JOB

“In the guidance department, in the registrar’s office, in the biology department, and elsewhere – it’s almost impossible to get someone to do their job.” so, so, SO frustrated

What, if any, is the relationship between the guidance department (how do you require guidance?), the registrar’s office (are you a convicted felon?) and the biology department (are you genetically challenged?).

When writing a bitch you must attempt to give reasons WHY you are so frustrated. Simply claiming that you are is not sufficient. You must do your job.

    A pleasure as always,

    Cheerio!
