Oil permeates every aspect of our lives, and Canada has a lot of it. This is not a bad thing for us.

Goodbye, backwards province full of zombified socialists. I’m off to help fuel that hydrocarbon addiction you’re in denial about. —Thermodynamics

  1. it really amazes me, that canada, has all this fucking oil under ground. but what really befuddles me, is that there are oil refineries here and out west, but we sennd it overseas to reine it? what the fuck is wrong with this picture? they say it costs more to refine at home, but over there, it’s cheaper. so how fucking come, we pay so much more for fuel than the u.s. who does their own refining.
and, if the rinfining is done outside of canada, then why the fuck are those non used refineries still there? does any thing canada does anymore, make any fucking sense at all. we are/were a great and proud nation once, and even feared in some parts of the world. now we are just a pet dog to the u.s. and other foreign countries, that choose to take ll our business away from here, to outsource it. fuck, i hate that word.

  2. sorry guys, should be sent, and refine, brain is a little muddled today about a friend dying.

  3. Us backward zombified socialists are trying to keep from being six feet under water in fifty years.

  4. Bye OB
George Jefferson said it best…. “Don’t let the doorknob hit you where the good lord split you on your way out”

  5. While I would agree that, oil isn’t going away anytime soon, we should still look at alternatives because oil is ultimately a finite resource. I will freely admit, however, that most of our alternatives at this point in time aren’t all that great.

  6. There are sooo many alternative resources available to us. Oil doesn’t have to be used for fuel, although it will still be needed for other things like plastics. Using oil to heat our homes is one of the most ridiculous practices around.

We have Solar, Passive Solar, wind, tidal, geothermal, and alternative fuels (like hemp). There’s such an abundance of energy that Canadians could potentially tap into, but we remain stuck in an economy fixated on oil.

Here’s a fun fact kids; They’ve been using geothermal energy in Newfoundland for over 150 years, to help heat and cool their homes.

  7. What I love are people who bitch about oil exploration going on in places they fly to for their vacations.

  8. we should harvest biothermal energy all matrix style from our cattle…
they can dream of greener pastures and we get all that energy to power shit.
    Then we eat them…
All those unused muscles would make for some damn tender steak.
    Everyone wins!
except for the cattle, I guess but let’s face it… they aren’t winning the war as is…
and already feel pretty enslaved. You can see it on their face

  9. and btw.. i hated to use your little euphemism but did so out of a sense of wanting you to feel represented.. It’s BACKWARD in this particular case.

You tryin’ to sound like you ain’t from here ‘riginally but it don’t work too good.

  10. Haha, zombiefied socialists, true enough! They don’t do a lot but contribute to global warming as they spew hot air into the atmosphere, just to hear the sound of their own voice and let others know how much they “care”

“Zombiefied socialists?” I don’t suppose you could define that, could you clancy? No, didn’t think so. How about just “socialist?” No, didn’t think so either.

Sounds to me like your’re just spewing some of your own hot air into the atmosphere yourself clancy, and for the same reasons.

    A pleasure as always.

    Cheerio!
