i loathe award shows. but watching ricky gervais @ some self-congratulatory thingie was gold…he was so funny but the crowd with their food poisoned unmoving visages was even funnier
nothing compared to the Comedy Central Roasts….. at least the first few…. those roasters rip each and every person in attendance a new one. The roasts of Bill Shatner, Pam Anderson and Flava Flav are the best.

they should put more ‘show’ into the awards shows and less ‘awards’.
I’m pretty sure people don’t care if you came up with the best music in the movie no-one bothered to go see…. or the lighting was better than the rest of everyone for those 365 days. y’all get paid millions of dollars to pretend to be someone else for a couple months a year…. start earning your paycheque and entertain for fuck sakes
i liked bily crystal with his gotta sing gotta dance schtick. the only reason i saw the gervais thing on youtube was because the mainstream hollyweird press lambasted him
