Abortions should be legal only in the cases where the person’s life is endangered. Just because you go off and fuck the lastest man that crosses your bed and oops creat a child doesn’t give you the right to kill it ! You have choices, use condoms, birthcontrol, or better yet don’t have sex. You can also give the child up for adoption. But cowards that do have abortions don’t want to announce their little bun in the oven. Mistake if you will. Women should be responsible about their sex life. But don’t kill an innocent life because of YOUR mistake!!

think before you fuck!

  1. Thanks, Reverend Phelps. I’ll think of you tomorrow night when I have my coathanger party.

  2. Tell that to some 12 year old that’s been raped by a relative. Fuck off and explode, you Bible-belting piece of excrement.

  3. I would rather see a woman abort than pop ’em out for cold hard cash a la our welfare system, only to neglect, use and abuse those children who, for a large part, will end up criminals or second generation welfare whores. If that isn’t a reason for abortion, I don’t know what is.

  4. I am not condoning what the poster said because I do believe in a woman’s right to choose but I have to say your comment TTFN is atrocious: “for a large part, will end up criminals or second generation welfare whores” So now we are pre-judging the unborn? Scary.

  5. Excuse me but many criminals come from disadvantaged backgrounds where parental care is nil and/or abusive. I grew up with kids from the pubs and while there were some great mothers, there were many more who didn’t give a rat’s ass what their kids did because they were alcoholics and drug addicts. Most of their kids became hardened criminals or welfare bums like their parents who did nothing but abuse the system for all its worth. So fuck off.

  6. Sorry but just because someone grows up like that does not mean they will inherently be a criminal. TTFN you are judging kids that haven’t been born yet, I am not disagreeing with a women’s right to choose…just your pre-judging…what if someone had pre-judged you because you were going to grow up in the Pubs?

  7. There was actuall a very interesting section in Freakonomics devoted to this subject, describing how a number of years after Roe v. Wade, crime rates plummeted. The author made the point that it was around the time that, had the mothers been unable to get abortions, their children (who would be more likely to be neglected, since the mothers would have been forced to have them simply because there would have been no alternative) would be at an age where most criminal behaviour begins.

  8. I don’t think TTFN is prejudging an unborn baby as much as she is citing trends that are typically true. neglected children tend to be at higher risk for turning to crime or social assistance. If TTFN were talking about a specific individual i might buy that as prejudging the unborn. Instead, TTFN seems to be saying that, overall, it may be better to abort than bring a child into a substandard environment. That’s a very debatable opinion, but I think it is a valid one.

  9. She is using it as an example for reasons to use abortion…and did not use “it may be better to abort than bring a child into a substandard environment.” which might be more diplomatic and tactful but really points to the same road. Sure it is not fair to bring up a child in a disadvantaged but they could go to a foster home and thrive…thus not becoming a member of the already too large population of criminals in our country. It is a very debatable topic, one that unfortunately many people feel very strongly about and thus react without further dialog. I understand TTFN’s hostility but she should try and debate it rather than throw a fit and spew general-isms and poor-hate.

  10. Yawn I’m bored today, what to do, what to do…. hmm, I think I’ll get myself knocked up and treat myself to an abortion. Because it’s my right to do that. Because it’s my body and I am the only one in charge of what it does.Suck on that, Rainman!

  11. You have a right to your opinion, Raina. You even have a right to express it in a public forum. Fortunately for every woman in this country, it’s a minority opinion. Don’t expect much support for your position here.

  12. I think it’s probably safe to assume that the OP is male so in that case here’s to you mister:Until men are able to have children (with the exception of that dude on Oprah) you should keep your trap shut. Like qwerty said, it’s our bodies and freedom of choice. What are you from 1945? There are a lot of situations where an abortion is the most responsible choice. What if you aren’t financial stable and the baby is born with spina bifida or chronic asmatha or any sort of illness (before people start flying off the handle, I’m not saying you should have an abortion because of this I’m just using an example). Who’s going to pay the medical cost. Because the government certainly won’t cover the majority of them. Then who suffers the rest of their life?

  13. I think its awesome when the same people who are against abortion are all about supporting capital punishment. How Pabst Blue Ribbon! is that?

  14. I just had a graet idea for a business – a high end abortion clinic, for women who want to have their abortions in style. Complete with big screen tv’s, 1000 thread count egyptian cotton sheets, with a manicurist and aesthetician to do your nails and give you a nice relaxing facial. And, of course, a “buy 12 get one free” stamp card.Because the whole “right” thing is a non-issue. It’s my fucking body and I’ll do what the fuck I want to it and with it The more you suggest this right should be taken from me, the more I want to throw it in your face that you CAN’T. It’s a RIGHT. Just like it’s your right to be a know it all 2nd year university student who thinks she knows something but is in for the rudest awakening when you get into the world and realize what you think is so black and white, is in fact all different shades of gray. Hopefully you’ll never be in the position where you’re forced to rethink everything you believe to be true about this subject, but generally, those who judge the harshest, often do find themselves smack in the shoes of those they judged. Good luck to you when this comes to you, you will need it.

  15. Let me retract the poor-hate…it’s not that really, I was just groping for a description. Sorry TTFN I don’t want to label you as a Hate spreader.

  16. I think what we should be sitting up and taking notice of is the fact that these racist, homophobic, anti-choice fucking evangelicals are seeping and blending into regular society, and if we’re not careful, it’s going to be the Handmaid’s Tale here in a few years. The fucking backwoods Harper goverment is a few MPs away from having total control, and if we don’t wake the fuck up NOW, we’re going to find these rights we taken for granted GONE and people like Rainman and little man (x-hali) will be running the show.

  17. Thanks, Miles for your translation, spot on. That was exactly my point. And, Christopher, sorry for the fuck off. No child should be neglected or abused and there are so many people out there who have children for all the wrong reasons. For some, it’s a means to get cold hard government cash in hand, the more kids, the better. Is it any wonder a child would become jaded at a very young age and out for themselves by the time they’re teens? I’ve seen too much of this close up, I grew up around it, it’s in my goddamn neighbourhood, I see it every fucking day.

  18. Abortions should be available to whoever wants them , with a few exception. But I do think the counselling beforehand should strongly encourage other options like adoptionOr the sale of the newborn to Thailand.

  19. Yuk yuk yuk! Aaaand there’s plenty more where that came from… Abort my wife – please! ba-dum-TSSS!Did you hear the one about Morgentaler and the strawberry milkshake? (oooh… thought police alert, just offended myself!)So, Paris Hilton had a new uterus installed – it self-terminates pregnancy every month! HEY-YO!Anyone here from New Jersey?…. wind whistling… crickets…. I summed up my feelings very succinctly in my previous post and it was my response to the OP being deliberately provocative. matt – why are you trying to be deliberately provocative by insulting me? I didn’t insult you. If you don’t get my irony or sarcasm, on your bike.
