I am proud to announce I called 911 last night in response to 3 boys beating the snot out of 2 others. I’m not proud they were beating the snot out of each other however. But I am proud at the 3 minute response time and very nice 911 operator.
Alright, DTA! You did the right thing. Too bad most people would rather gawk or look away.
In regards to stopping violence..it might not be that people don’t care it might be more the fact they are scared of getting shot or stabbed themselves….

Welcome to the “ignore it and it will go away” or “ignore it and someone else will help” generation.No one will help someone in immediate need, such as the kid getting beat up on the bus. But hell, we’ll be on the screaming defensive if you harm a baby seal!
POBB,I feel the rage brother. Bottom line is some people would act on something like that, like us for instance, and some people will sit there and watch it take place. How they sleep at night, I’m not sure. I would sooner be beaten for trying to help someone out, like the kid on the bus, as opposed to sit there like a moron.
