I have a twenty minute wait for my connecting bus at the sportsplex, twice a day. you ever stand around for twenty minutes hoping your bus is on time?
There are two or three wooden benches that are usually totally occupied and upwards of fifty people standing around. is it so fuckin impossible to have some freakin where to sit?????
on the up side – there is a positive use for the daily metro paper – people take one, set it on the concrete and park their tired selves on that.

And so it shall be. Go now unto your bench, but remember.I’m watching.
You ever have to stand for an 8, 10, or 12 hour shift? Lots of people do. Stop your griping about 20 minutes. I can’t believe people would rather sit on the ground on a dirty paper than stand for a measley 20 minutes.
I hate standing for longer than a couple of minutes, it makes me sick and dizzy. Not walking or running, just standing. I don’t know why. I passed out my first day of work one time, years ago, from standing in one spot for too long. So embarrassing.
elocine – maybe this person just worked a 12 hour shift on their feet…ever think of that?
The Bridge Terminal is flawed, I agree with OP. Luckily for OP, and the hundreds of others who use it, there is a new one forthcoming. It’ll be bigger, faster, stronger, faster, bigger…Anyhoo, be patient, lean on the railings (outside please, I won’t be responsible for buses hitting you) if your feet need a rest, and it’ll be better.
Plastic Diver Guy, I haven’t heard anything about this new terminal. When is it coming?
Plastic Diver Guy: What you probably meant is Metro Transit is flawed…
Metro Transit has its flaws too. This is true. The new terminal requires provincial approval as it will involve the wilderness park (yes, it’s going to be bigger). Once received, the funds are already set aside and the fun can begin once the city finds the jade monkey by the next full moon.
