…to the bus driver who stalled me for half a second while crossing at the Spring Garden Road and Brenton Street crosswalk while a dangerous speeding driver passed on the wrong side of the road and flew across the crosswalk I was crossing. The bus driver laid on the horn and extended his/her arm out as far as s/he could in hopes of stopping the speeding car. In the meantime I was startled long enough by the bus driver’s honking that the raging driver missed me by a very short hair. Never assume all drivers are wise folks! So a big thank you to bus driver! You saved my life from a lunatic driver who is too impatient to even own a car! —DRP
