GRAH I dont know how to really start..im so pissed off, first the buses threaten striking, they get what they wanted, then they dont fucking DO THEIR JOBS!! I was at Cobequid bus terminal waited an hour for an 87 dartmouth bus to come at 6:08pm and it doesnt show up! In my opinion bus drivers do not deserve high pay/”more security on buses”, (whatever the reason they were threating to strike), how does a bus not show up to a bus terminal, and if it did show up, it left way early coz I was at the terminal at 6pm.
fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck…and the shitty thing is…all i can do is bitch!!!! GRAH!!!!!!!!! And the topping on the cake, my friend that was with me has the flu, and was puking and wanted to go home! Called the information line for the buses, and they couldnt tell me shit either…
I’ve never seen a shittier bus service in my life…i lived in calgary and the city is twice the size of this place, and their service was NEVER this bad…oh and also they drivers in calgary are WAY nicer as well…GOD FUCKIN SAKE…IM SOOOO FUCKIN PISSED OFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE HALIFAX TRANSIT…i wish i was making what they are so i could avoid taking transit ALL TOGETHER…

I feel your frustration. I just had the scariest/most frustrating bus day yet! On my way to the IWK for an appointment (route 17) was 20 minutes late. During the trip the driver slammed the brake twice so hard that I almost fell over in my seat! Then…low and behold, the bus breaks down and a whole bus load has to board the next route 17…which is now cramped to capacity!! On my way back home (on route 18 now) the SAME exact fucking thing happens, bus breaks down at Sobey’s on windsor street…and AGAIN bus driver drives like a bat out of hell for the later half of the trip, I assume to make up the time, nearly hitting a car on one instance. WTF!! Just because your route is late is not a reason to put your riders at risk. Metro Transit – FIX your god damn buses, and hire better drivers!
