Sunday morning, Nov 26th, 3AM. You walking home on Lacewood Drive and under your foot… a Blackberry rings. Me calling frantically for my boyfriend who had just lost his phone on his way home. I ran to meet you on the street and tried to give you a cash reward but no way would you hear of it! I tried to explain how much this meant and this was a mere token but you would not accept it. You said that someone had done the same for you in the past and you asked only that we pay it forward. You said it was a miracle you hadn’t stepped on it as it rang, just as you were stepping down, almost upon it.
It was certainly our good fortune that YOU found it!
