Don’t ya hate it when the person in front of you in an express line has way over the amount allowed?

“Oh, i’m only a few over!” They’ll say. IF YOUR SUCH A FATTY YOU CAN’T EVEN WAIT, THEN YOU HAVE A WEIGHT ISSUE!! —Sick of waiting

  1. In California I was at a grocery store & the 10 items cash registers, total your bill automatically once the 10th item is scanned ~:0
You have to pay & if there’s anyone behind you…you have to go to the back of the line.

    Which is IMO only fair.

  2. Agreed, modern grocery stores do have this feature, so we can expect them in NS around 2018?

  3. What does weight have to do with the number of items? Imagine if some fit finlay had 8 different veggies, a cheese and salad dressing.

  4. they are either good at math, but can’t read, or a good reader, that can’t add for shit. either way, you are stuck til they are gone.

  5. If OP is suggesting that there is a relationship between people’s body weight and bringing more than 10 items to an express cashier line…I don’t even know what to say.

I do have a rule about my own weight though. If my butt hangs over the sides from the chair I am sitting on in a restaurant, it is time for me to go on a diet. Totally unrelated, but I just had to put it out there.

  6. B in BC, you grossly overestimate us, 2030 is when I’d expect to see it. We’re still wrapping our heads around self-checkouts.

  7. I was behind a woman who had a full cart at 10 items or less checkout at the Superstore and the cashier never said a word.

  8. Bon – and just why didn’y you say anything?

you could’ve picked your nose and wiped a booger on them at least….

  9. Once your food hits the belt they can’t tell you to move it, Bon so the cashier’s hands were probably tied. Or they just didn’t care. That happens a lot.

I was at the superstore and the cashier bitched me out because it was the express lane and apparently having 9 items in the 10 items or less line means you have too many items? I think someone needs to work on their math skills.

At that time I was working for super store as a cashier in another location and I tore a strip off that smug little bastard. He was one of those “I’m a cashier so I can tell customers what to do!” pricks and I called him out on it. He went on about how he’d get written up — bullshit. I know people who never actually showed up to work and still didn’t get written up. I doubt 11 items in a 10 item or less line is going to get anyone written up. Regardless, I had 9 fucking items. Asshole. Must suck to be in your 30s and still doing cashier work.
