Recently Engaged: Rochelle & Jacob

While working for the IWK and worked as a part-time realtor with EXIT Realty Citadel (now Metro). Every year there is an EXIT Realty convention in the United States. In October 2010 the week-long convention was in Dallas, Texas and of course I went and was really excited to experience this new place. My friends would tease me and say “go meet a cowboy” and I laughed and said that I was not interested in any long distance relationships. In Dallas on a night out I met a Jacob, and though he was wearing a cowboy hat he wasn’t from Dallas. It turned out he was also a Realtor with EXIT, but in Alberta! After hitting it off we decided to try a long distance relationship and visited each other back and forth. We got engaged on our two year anniversary in Nashville, at the EXIT Realty convention trip on Oct 25, 2012. We currently live in Alberta but are getting married in Halifax on March 23 and I’m so excited to marry my Albertan cowboy! —as told by Rochelle Isaac-Clements, with edits
