I knew the ring was coming at some point because I designed it, but I had no idea it would be this soon.

I was coming home late from a work function, so Graham told me he would have supper ready. I arrived home to lobster, wine, and caesar salad… mmmmmm… and guessed it was the big night. While we were dishing out the food, Graham got down on one knee but followed the gesture with “just joking”, laughed and got up. Rude. To my surprise, the night continued on without any proposals or mention of it. The next morning while I was pouring my Cheerios, Graham came around the corner, got down on one knee and said I love you so much and a bunch of other stuff (I was far too excited to hear what he was saying, but I am sure it was lovely). He said he was trying to wait until the coming Friday (it was a Thursday), but he was too excited. He had also been tossing and turning a lot the night before and when I asked him about it, he said he was so excited and nervous he couldnt sleep… cute! So, I said yes (obviously) and the rest is history. But, there is one thing for sure, I will never look at Cheerios the same way again.

The wedding is set for September 3, 2011.
