When you’re young the world seems so fresh and innocent; as you get older the clouds roll in and it gets darker. Tegan and Sara’s So Jealous delves a little deeper into that darkness with tunes like “Walking With A Ghost” and “Wake Up Exhaust- ed.” The sweet melodies of If It Was You are intact, but they’ve moved away from their precocious pop-punk stylings toward a more mature acoustic sound. After touring If It Was You heavily, Tegan and Sara sound more than a little world-weary here.
