I’m intrigued by Northern Video Art Port a video art service. Here’s how it works: you send your video art to NVAP and in exchange, you’ll receive another artist’s video project that you’re obligated to watch, either in your comfy living room or at a public screening. You won’t know who watches your art but the recipient will receive your contact info. Really, it’s like a blind date without getting grossed out by spinach teeth and bad music tastes.
So send your video art DVD (maximum three videos individually mailed–no CV or statements, please) in a self-addressed padded envelope, to: 2664 Fuller Terrace, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3K 3V7.
