NOFX Are Coming

Here’s a couple of summer-y concert announcements to ease you as you trudge, ever-forward, through these remaining weeks of winter doldrums. NOFX has announced Halifax as a stop on its upcoming “Great White NOFX Tour.” They’ll be playing the Halifax Forum on June 15th with Teenage Bottle Rocket and Old Man Markley. Tickets are $25/$30 and go on sale this Friday, March 4 at 10am. Tickets will be available at all Ticketpro outlets, including United Bookstore (1669 Barrington St), Video Difference (6086 Quinpool Rd & 1239 Bedford Hwy), Alderney Landing (2 Octerloney St) and CD Heaven (118 Wyse Rd), by phone at 1-888-311-9090 and online. And yes, it’s an all-ages show.

Also, the Evolve Festival recently announced on their Facebook page that Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros would be playing. This + the appearance of Chali 2na promise an interesting time this year. The fest runs July 22 – 24 this year.
