Those wild and crazy nutters in Man Man, hippie-thingies Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, former Jurassic 5 rapper Chali 2na and last year’s show-stealer Fred Penner are all on the bill, while notable first-timers include No Flyers Please and the Belle Comedians. The Sheepdogs – the Saskatoon-based rock outfit who are in the finals to win a contest to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone – will also be playing. NOFX Are Coming
Here’s a couple of summer-y concert announcements to ease you as you trudge, ever-forward, through these remaining weeks of winter doldrums. NOFX has announced Halifax as a stop on its upcoming “Great White NOFX Tour.” They’ll be playing the Halifax Forum on June 15th with Teenage Bottle Rocket and Old Man Markley. Tickets are $25/$30 and go on sale this Friday, March 4 at 10am.
