Black Vibes stage saw this week’s Coast cover star Cam Smith take home the African-Canadian Recording of the Year award for his album Ocean Blue. Read more about Smith here.
Charlie A’Court rocked the R&B/Soul Stage and won Blues Recording of the Year and R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for Triumph & Disaster.
Across the bridge at the Rodeo Lounge, RyLee Madison took Country Recording of the Year award for Where Does The Time Go.
Charlottetown’s English Words not only performed alongside acts such as Joshua Van Tassel and Scientists of Sound at The Palace’s Electronic Stage, they also took home Electronic Recording of the Year for their album Red Potion.
Over at The Company House, Joel Miller won Jazz Recording of the Year for Swim.
Ben Caplan and his beard won Rising Star Recording of the Year for In the Time of the Great Remembering at the Schooner Room.
