Meaghan Smith, snow lover.

While there is no shortage of holiday options on your calendar, the weather hasn’t exactly been accommodating so far this winter, and it’s hard to get festive without a few white flakes—a sentiment that vintage-pop maven Meaghan Smith seems to share. “People always say ‘I hate snow’ and ‘why would you name your album It Snowed?’ but I love snow,” she confesses. “But it has to be fluffy and beautiful otherwise there’s no point.” If you’re on board with the whole ‘beauty as requirement thing’ then Smith’s holiday show is going to be just up your Christmas alley. “We had such an awesome show last year at St. Matthew’s Church so we figured we’d do another this year,” she says. “I was kinda nervous if people would be like ‘I already heard that.’ But I guess [they] liked it and told their friends.” With holiday covers and a few new tunes of her own, it’s going to be even better this time ’round—don’t be the friend that misses it.
