OK, so there’s no real local news angle here, except that The Coast’s art editor loves music-video director Floria Sigismondi and had the opportunity to interview her a couple of years ago. Swoon. Apparently Sigismondi is set to direct her first feature-length film about The Runaways, Jett’s teen-years punk band. Kristen Stewart from that wee film Twilight stars. Those are some mighty tight pants to fill.
