- A hobo in the making?
So judging from the calls for extras (and the fact that we were told directly), Jason Eisener‘s Hobo with a Shotgun starts shooting on April 19. No word yet on casting, but Nick Nolte was rumoured at one point to be a consideration for Hobo. A girl can only hope.
This will be great news for AV Club readers: Scene columnist Alison Lang tipped us off to this story on Grindhouse, Robert Rodriguez‘s film, where the fake trailer Hobo with a Shotgun first screened. Nothing in the story about it specifically, but a few commenters are anxiously waiting for the feature-length Hobo.

Yep, Hobo shoots today through May 21 in Dartmouth. The star of the show is the original Hitcher himself, Rutger Hauer. Also cast is Molly Dunsworth and TPB’s Robb Wells will make an appearance.
