
Three films created through AFCOOP‘s One-Minute Film Scholarship program are going to screen as part of the Toronto Urban Film Festival, from September 5-12. How cool is this, a transit-based festival! It’s the only one of its kind in North America, featuring a different urban-themed program of silent, one-minute films each day that will be viewed on 250 subway platform screens. Bored and irritated TTC commuters will get to enjoy a small piece of Hali, thanks to The Old Crick by Sonia Edworthy, Nuit Blanche by Francois Gaudet and Rebecca Singer Ramblers: Halifax Synchronized Bike Team, by Rebecca Singer.
